Avie's Place, the Forrest Hall Farm Shop, which opened in 2004, offers a 
variety of shopping pleasures...with a country-home setting to sell those items that make a farm famous.
We offer flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables. We also offer a line of Maryland produced McCutcheon's products including cider, jams and jellies, apple and pumpkin butters, and more.
You are sure to enjoy our snacks, fruit pies, and other fresh baked goods available at the store.
For those searching for that special country gift or souvenir, the shop features crafts and collectibles from local artists and crafters.
The Shop is generally open from late May until late November, 11:00am-dusk. Our shop is closed each Monday, except during the month of October.
NEW! Black Angus Beef
Forrest Hall Farm is pleased to offer our own farm produced Black Angus beef cuts for sale in our shop. Our animals are humanely raised on our farm and grain fed from grain grown and ground here on the farm - hormone and antibiotic free. Our meat is processed under USDA inspection with a meat processing permit from the State Department of Health & Mental Hygiene. The meat is sold in a frozen state in accordance with state regulation. It should be kept frozen until used.
Produce & More
Our produce comes from not
just our farm, but other local farms in the area, everything is fresh and ready for you to take home. Seasonal vegetables are available such as tomatoes, potatoes, onions, cucumbers, eggplant, and more.
The apples available for purchase come from our orchard and other local orchards in the area. Succulent and juicy, you can smell the sweetness before you even enter the store.
Pumpkins and fall harvest decorations are available each October. The selection is awesome, come by and check it out for yourself.
We offer hay, straw, and field corn (on the ear, for animals). Call for pricing.
We also have greens - kale (curly and flat), cress, spinach, cabbage, brussel sprouts, mustard greens, collard greens, and turnip greens. All are $1/bag for U-Pick.
And what about those pies...they from McCutcheon's and delivered to our store regularly. We bake the pies right on sight so that you are 
sure to have the perfect compliment to your dinner. We offer apple, peach, cherry, and pumpkin pies seasonally. Call ahead to make sure we have exactly what you want.

Local artists works are available for purchase at the Forrest Hall Store. There's something for all tastes. From wood carvings, to crafts, to hand-sewn items, you're sure to find something that suits you or can be used as the perfect gift.
